Strong preference will be given to applicants in 1) mathematical biology, 2) applied PDE’s, 3) special functions/orthogonal polynomials or harmonic analysis. Exceptional candidates in other areas will be considered. Qualifications for the positions include a doctorate in mathematics or a closely-related discipline earned by the date of employment, a proven record of scholarly activities, and the ability to teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses in a mathematics curriculum. Developing externally funded research grants is expected, and interest in interdisciplinary research is preferred.
