ATTENDANCE POLICY
Attendance will be checked. You will earn 3% extra credit on your test average if you have no more than 4 unexcused absences. Excused absences must be approved by your instructor no later than 7 days after the absence.

HOMEWORK
Suggested homework exercises are listed on the departmental trigonometry syllabus. They will not be graded; however, students are encouraged to do these exercises in order to increase the likelihood of success in the class. You will also be assigned CAPA homework which must be done on the internet and will be graded for credit.

TESTS
There will be four progress tests and a final exam.

GRADING POLICY
Your grade will consist of the following: Progress Test average (60%), quiz average (10%), CAPA average (10%), and your final exam grade (20%).

GRADING SCALE

90 - 100% A
80 - 89% B
70 - 79% C
0 - 69% F

NC POLICY
If you attend 80% or more of the lectures, take all tests, and have a final average of at least 50% then No Credit (NC grade) will be awarded in place of an F.
