No make up tests or quizzes will be given without written proof of a university approved absence (UCF function, religious holiday, death in the family, illness, etc.). You must discuss your circumstances with me (in person or by email) within a week of the absence. TESTS There will be four tests and a cumulative final exam. The lowest test grade will be dropped. THE FINAL EXAM WILL NOT BE DROPPED. There will also be quizzes weekly. The two lowest quiz grades will be dropped. GRADING POLICY Tests - 60% Quizzes - 20% Final Exam - 20% GRADING SCALE Average Grade 90 - 100% A 80 - 89% B 70 - 79% C 60 - 69% D 0 - 59% F IMPORTANT DATES Test 1 - September 12, 2003 Test 2 - October 1, 2003 Test 3 - October 20, 2003 Test 4 - November 9, 2003 Final Exam - TBA OTHER INFORMATION Free help is available in the MathLab, Located in MAP 113.
