HOMEWORK
Homework problems will be assigned for almost each class meeting, but will not be graded. However,in quizzes, tests and the final exam similar problems will be used. Do the reading assignments before attempting the homework. READ THE BOOK.

TESTS
Quizzes and test will be given once per two weeks and per four weeks respestively. The three tests and the final exam are scheduled on September 16, October 14, November 11, and December 9. Each quiz carries 10 points with highest 5 scores counted into the final average. Each test carries 50 points, while the final exam carries 100 points. The final exam is mandatory for all students. No exceptions are permitted for early travel etc.

NC POLICY
If you attend 80% or more of the lectures, take all tests, and have a final average of at least 50% then No Credit (NC grade) will be awarded in place of an F.
