HOMEWORK You are given assignments from the textbook after each lecture. Homework will not be collected but there will be regular quizzes based on the homework problems and you may be asked to submit specific problem(s) for a quiz grade.

TESTS There will be five fifty-minute class tests. The lowest test grade will be dropped.

GRADING POLICY Class tests are 60% of your final grade, quizzes are worth 15%, and the final examination is 25%.

NC POLICY To be eligible for the NC grade in place of an F, you must: a) Regularly attend and participate in class with no more than six absences; b) Take all tests and the final examination; c) Attain an average for the course of at least 50%
