OTHER INFORMATION
- Homework problems will be assigned at the end of every class. The homework problems will not be collected nor graded. However, you are advised to work out the problems systematically. Working out problems is the best way to comprehend the material. Also, exam problems will be of similar type.
- No make-up exam will be given unless there is a really pressing reason documentable by the student.
- Most of the material in Chapter 1 is considered review material; therefore, we will cover that material rather quickly. That material is fundamental to the concepts that we will be discussing in this course. If you do not feel comfortable with that material, study it more in depth on your own. The same holds true for the material in Appendices A to F.
- Math Lab: In addition to my office hours, the Math Lab is a wonderful help/tutorial facility for this course and I strongly urge you to use it. It is located on the first floor of the MAP Building (Room 113). Hours: Monday-Thursday 8am-9pm, Friday 8am-3pm, and Sunday 3pm-10pm. Phone: 407-823-3489. E-mail:
