Bedient (8th Edition) Prentice hall, (1997) ATTENDANCE POLICY Students are expected to attend classes regularly. HOMEWORK Homework assignments will be made at the end of every class. Students are expected to attend classes regularly and to do their regular (or special) homework assignments. If you do your homework, you will make good grades. Students who neglect their homework may not do well on tests and final examination. TESTS 3 tests and final examination is on Wednesday, April 25, 2001; 19:00-21:50 Students must take scheduled tests and final examination unless there is a real excuse documented by the student. (Make-up test is at the discretion of the instructor, and it may be harder.) No partial credit. No make-up finals. If you do not pick up your test paper within 2 weeks from the test date, I will throw away your paper and keep a record of your test score. Students who are not officially registered in the class will not have tests/exam graded. Final examinations will be comprehensive. Absolutely no talking or cheating in classes, tests and examinations will be allowed. The book listed above will be used to cover the materials listed in the syllabus. Your seat will be assigned in all tests and final examination. You have to show your ID in all tests and final examination. Withdrawal date March 2, 2001. GRADING POLICY The grade is based on the average score in 3 tests and comprehensive final examination (in class, closed book.) Final exam is mandatory. Passing score of 60 on the Final exam is required.
