ATTENDANCE POLICY
Attendance for all tests and quizzes is mandatory. No make up tests or quizzes will be given without proof of a university approved absence (i.e. UCF function, religious holiday, death in the family, etc.). You must discuss your circumstances with me within a week of the absence.

HOMEWORK
Homework will be assigned daily and collected weekly according to the schedule given in class. It is strongly recommended that you do each problem assigned.

TESTS
There will be three tests and a cumulative final exam. There will also be quizzes or group assignments each week.

GRADING POLICY
Tests - 55%
Quizzes/Groupwork - 20%
Homework - 10%
Final Exam - 15%

GRADING SCALE

AverageGrade
90 - 100% A
80 - 89% B
70 - 79% C
0 - 69% F

NC POLICY
If you attend 80% or more of the lectures, take all tests, and have a final average of at least 50% then No Credit (NC grade) will be awarded in place of an F.
