TESTS
There will be no make-up exams except in extreme circumstances (ex: death in immediate family, military obligation, school activity, etc.) at the discretion of the instructor. You will be asked to provide proper documentationThere will be 2 fifty minute tests (25% each) for each term. The following are the test dates for term A: Test 1: Tuesday, May 29;Test 2: Monday, June 18.

GRADING POLICY
A 10-point scale will be used to convert the numerical grade into a letter grade. That is :

OTHER INFORMATION
1) Homework will be assigned but not collected. Attendance and doing homework assignments are very important for your success in this class.2) You may use a graphing calculator such as the TI-83 on tests, but not a graphing calculator with a CAS (computer algebra system) such as the TI-92 or the TI-89. If you’re not sure whether your calculator is acceptable, please ask.3) Information in this syllabus is subject to change. Any changes will be clearly announced in class
