ATTENDANCE POLICY Attendance is mandatory for all lectures, tests, and quizzes. Make up tests will not be available except in the event of a university approved absence (illness, death in the family, university function, etc). Documentation of such an absence must be provided within a week to be eligible to make up work.

HOMEWORK Homework will be given daily and reviewed in class. It will not be graded but is essential to your understanding of the material.

TESTS There will be four tests given in class and a final exam on the last day of class. Tests will be worth 60% of your grade, and the final will be worth 20%. There will also be daily quizzes worth 20% of your grade.

NC POLICY If you attend 80% or more of the lectures, take all tests, and have a final average of at least 50% then No Credit (NC grade) will be awarded in place of an F.

OTHER INFORMATION Additional help is available during my office hours and in the Math Lab located in MAP 113. The Math Lab's summer hours are Monday-Thursday 9-5, Friday 9-3, and Sunday 2-6.
